Sometimes at night I like to sit outside and gaze at the stars… It helps me to clear my head and actually sleep.

But then again, sometimes it makes me think a little more deeply.

Tonight was one of those nights, and I realized something.

.

.

In this world, I am a rather insignificant speck of dust.

.

.

Not much more than a single grain of sand along a beach.

.

.

But then again, in terms of the universe, the earth is the same.

.

.

Nothing more than a single grain of sand along a beach.

.

.

This made me feel sad. It made me realize something very important.

.

.

The problems I face today will (hopefully) mean nothing tomorrow.

.

.

However, I am still nothing more than a single grain of sand.

.

.

A piece of dust ready to be lost by a single breeze.

.

.

Never to be seen again.

.

.

And once more, I became sad. Felt completely insignificant.

.

.

I allowed my mind to wander, and once again came to conclusion.

.

.

It doesn’t matter

.

.

For even the smallest, most insignificant grain of sand

.

.

When handled just properly can become…

.

.

Something of pure magical beauty.

Stay in there, friends, life might have you down right now, but that is no reason to ever lose hope and give up. Strive to be the best person you can possibly be. Strive to be great. Strive to be you.

Before I go, I have one last thing to share, please take it into consideration.

“I wanted to change the world. But I have found that the only thing one can be sure of changing is oneself.

Quote by Aldous Huxley
